V2X Inc. reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.27 billion, a 9% increase compared with the same period a year earlier, as the defense and government services contractor continued to expand its contract base. Net income climbed 30% year-over-year to $32.0 million, reflecting improved operational efficiency alongside top-line growth.
On an adjusted basis, net income reached $51.7 million, up 19% from the prior-year quarter, while adjusted EBITDA came in at $88.6 million. The company's adjusted EBITDA margin stood at 7.0%, a metric analysts typically use to gauge profitability in the low-margin government services sector. Diluted earnings per share rose to $1.01, up sharply from the year-ago period.

The results underscore a broader trend among defense-adjacent services firms benefiting from sustained government spending on logistics, maintenance, and operational support. V2X, which serves U.S. military and federal agency clients, has positioned itself to capitalize on long-term contract vehicles that provide revenue visibility. The 30% jump in net income outpaced revenue growth, suggesting the company is extracting greater profitability from existing operations rather than relying solely on new contract wins.
The divergence between GAAP net income of $32.0 million and adjusted net income of $51.7 million points to meaningful non-cash or one-time charges that management has excluded from its adjusted figures, a common practice in the defense services industry that investors monitor closely when evaluating underlying business health.
